Apesar de todos acreditarem que nativos de culturas Minuanas, Charruas e Guenoas terem sido totalmente extintos, isso não aconteceu devido a família de um fazendeiro da região sul do Brasil. Vendo os rumos das colonizações portuguesas e espanholas na América do Sul, Martin Carvalho, um homem de bom coração e impressionado com as habilidades desses povos que aqui viviam, conseguiu estabelecer uma relação de amizade e confiança com os nativos e, quando avançavam os ibéricos em guerra contra os índios, como chamavam, Martin abrigou em suas terras, que havia recebido por doação do Rei Português, um grupo de Minuanos e Charruas que desde então se mantiveram lá escondidos para se protegerem.

Porém, na década de 1980, devido a crise que o país enfrentava e a falta de controle financeiro, a família Carvalho foi obrigada a vender suas terras e, consequentemente, os poucos nativos que restavam acabaram tendo que procurar outros lugares para sobreviver. Os mais velhos acabaram morrendo e agora restaram apenas Lojan e sua prima, Guidaí. Ela, triste com a morte dos pais, acabou aceitando a oferta de um vizinho dos Carvalho para ir morar e estudar no México com a filha dele que tem a mesma idade (19 anos).

Lojan se tornou um cavaleiro solitário. Vendeu alguns dos cavalos que os nativos possuíam e comprou uma pequena chácara próxima ao rio Camaquã. Lá se preocupou em prezar pela manutenção de sua cultura. Porém, vendo muitas famílias abandonadas pela sociedade enfrentando uma verdadeira guerra contra o governo e grandes fazendeiros, resolveu usar suas habilidades para proteger os que necessitam, desenvolvendo armas e suas táticas de guerra.

Although everyone believes that natives of the Minuanos, Charruas and Guenoas cultures have been completely extinct, this did not happen due to the family of a farmer from the southern region of Brazil. Seeing the course of Portuguese and Spanish colonization in South America, Martin Carvalho, a kind-hearted man impressed by the skills of these people who lived here, managed to establish a relationship of friendship and trust with the natives. When the Iberians advanced in war against the Indians, as they called them, Martin sheltered a group of Minuanos and Charruas on his land, which he had received as a donation from the Portuguese King, who have remained hidden there ever since to protect themselves.

However, in the 1980s, due to the crisis the country was facing and the lack of financial control, the Carvalho family was forced to sell their land and, consequently, the few remaining natives ended up having to look for other places to survive. The oldest ones ended up dying and now only Lojan and his cousin, Guidaí, remain. Saddened by the death of her parents, she ended up accepting an offer from a neighbor of the Carvalho family to go live and study in Mexico with his daughter who is the same age (19 years old).

Lojan became a lone ranger. He sold some of the horses that the natives owned and bought a small farm near the Camaquã River. There he was concerned with preserving his culture. However, seeing many families abandoned by society and facing a real war against the government and large landowners, he decided to use his skills to protect those in need, developing weapons and his war tactics.
